We find an Eel fyke net - that must have been there for 20 years or so, still had an eel in it. We free the Eel, take the net home and catch another eel, that we donged on the head. The whitebait have been screaming in the last few days and I have a bit in the freezer to give to family and friends. Its been an excellent season on the West Coast with huge numbers of whitebait running in most of the rivers, everytime the ocean calms down. Thanks so much following our adventures, we appreciate you!
