The final #Battlemech to be covered in my #Battletech series covering the Technical Readout #2750 for the #StarLeague, today I have the honour and privilege of showing off one of the greats of all time, the #BlackKnight. A 75-ton heavy #mech, this thing has a history stretching all the way back to the #ReunificationWar, where it helped smash the #Periphery at the behest of the First-Lord of the Star League, and honestly the criminal, Ian #Cameron. From there it has so much to talk about, from its #exodus with the #SLDF and Alexander #Kerensky, to its involvement with the #SuccessionWars, and eventually with #Comstar. From there its story only goes deeper as we get into the split in the #FederatedCommonwealth, and how it would slowly become a #FederatedSun machine, as well as one for the #RepublicoftheSphere, or #ROTS. It's got a great history yes, even in #DarkAge. And it will have a great history in the #Ilclan era, with its restoration to the #FreeWorldsLeague. Check it out. This one's gonna be great, I promise.
