Please support on us Patreon -   / dirtbikechannel   The 2017 Yamaha YZ250X is quite the machine. The 2016 KTM 350 XC-F is also an amazing machine. They both make solid enduro racing bikes. In this video we take them out to the desert after a rain storm and have some fun on them. For those of you saying, "it's not fair because one bike is older", I would say to you that it's not a big deal since the KTM only changes it's graphics kit from 2016 to 2017. The other thing I'd say to you is that the YZ250X is essentially the same basic bike as the 2006 YZ250 with only a few modifications. Taking that into consideration, the KTM has a decade of development and refinement over the YZ. Yet which bike would I prefer to ride all the time? I'd choose the YZ250X. The KTM 350 XC-F is, in my opinion, the most well rounded and most capable 4 stroke off road/competition bike there is. I've owned 2 of them and I really, really like them. The KTM doesn't do anything wrong, doesn't handle like the heavy 450s, doesn't tear your head off like the 450s, and simply rips. It's calm and composed. The YZ250X on the other hand feels lighter, more agile, more on edge, and more fun. It's like a teenage on a Friday night, bouncing and happy. I freaking love it.
