card: 投げかける言葉は - 神代 類 (The Right Words to Throw - Rui Kamishiro) from この祭に 夕闇色も (At This Festival Colored by Twilight), Project SEKAI's 2nd anniversary event [EVENT STORY SPOILERS] as context for those who have not read the main story yet, in this event the groups are performing at a festival called Shibuya Festa. during his preparations for WxS's show, Rui injures his ankle and is unable to walk, so Akito volunteers to take him to the first aid tent even though he needs to prepare for VBS's performance. Rui later manages to perform in WxS's show but still hasn't fully recovered from his injury by the end of the event ————— notes (*) this spelling of trolley (台車) describes the kind of sideless platform trolley you'd use to transport boxes rather than something like your typical grocery store trolley (though honestly it'd be really funny if they were trying to put Rui in one of those) the "gym class position" (体育座り) essentially describes sitting on the floor and grasping your knees. we don't really have an alternative saying in English so I went with the literal translation yes, Rui does actually say that last line. I did a double take too ————— please bear in mind that I am by no means fluent in Japanese and my tls are shaky at best! I'm also really sorry about the slightly crusty video quality, I went through the entire spectrum of human emotions trying to cram my screen recording into an exportable file size and eventually that was what I had to sacrifice haha this isn't my usual kind of clip but I really liked this card story so I wanted to try translating it anyway.
