This is a long supercut of a story featuring Emily Bishop where she came face to face with a man she had befriended from her church, who turned out to be her husband, Ernest's, killer - Ed. Emily was stunned when he revealed who he was, he tried to convince her he was a changed man but Emily was having none of it. She couldn't forgive him for what he did, and over the course of several weeks she wrestled with her conscience and had a crisis of faith, even telling Ed she hated him and wanted him dead. Ed had become friendly with Eileen Grimshaw who found herself shunned by friends like Deirdre who couldn't believe she was seeing him. Eventually, Ed found it uncomfortable being in the Street and left the area having suicidal thoughts. Emily heard from a Reverend about Ed's suicidal thoughts, and forced herself to offer forgiveness. She then gave Ed a camera which had belonged to Ernest. Eileen Derbyshire was FABULOUS in this story. Whenever Emily got a story, you knew it would be class personified. I have never forgotten this story and just wanted to upload it.
