When this valve does not work correctly, 2 problems may occur: 1 the nucleus does not rise: in this case the water cannot go into the steam boiler. therefore the electronic board does not enable the heating and sends the machine in lockout. 2 the nucleus does not close: water passes through the valve even when it should not pass. In this way the steam boiler continues to fill and the coffee pressure (with the blind filter) is lower than 3 bar. the steam will also be too wet.
