Here is the footage I got while skiing at Whiteface Mountain. Whiteface is located in Lake Placid, NY, in the heart of the High Peaks. It's also where the 1932 and 1980 Winter Olympics were held. Whiteface is a truly beautiful mountain to ski at simply for the views, but the trails are awesome too! Whiteface has the highest vertical drop in the East, at 3,216ft. I'm so sorry in the video, I say it's over 4,000ft, I mixed that up with the summit elevation of Whiteface, which is at 4,650ft. Again, I'm sorry for that mix up, I try to make my videos informative, as well as fun. Anyways, Whiteface is an awesome mountain, and I can't wait to go back!
