Fed up and down to the wire after 25 years in the corporate world, UK-based Shami Kalra decided he needed to make a change in his life. Drawing his passion for Motorsport, he creates racing-inspired watches for his brand, Omologato. The watch designs drawn on inspiration from racing liveries, fonts and legendary teams and require a story to accompany the timepieces. Gulf, Matini, Sir Stirling Moss are among a few of the points of inspiration for Omologato, which was launched virtually overnight in 2015. The immediate traction he has seen since beginning just over a year ago has surprised not only himself, but also his friends and family. He credits this to reseting his direction and following his interests.
