8:21 Arrival at FISK 11:00 Arrival to the KOSH Delta Oshkosh 2021 was the first year for this new VFR arrival procedure. It was also my first time flying to Oshkosh. I decided to film the last leg of my trip from New Jersey. We're flying a 2021 Van's Aircraft RV-12iS. We start off at Hartford, WI (HXF) which I picked as my last stop before Oshkosh due to fuel prices and proximity to Oshkosh. I wanted to arrive at Oshkosh with full tanks. While the arrival NOTAM was some 15 pages long, only a few of them pertained to VFR arrivals for everyday airplanes. I did not know which runway I would be assigned until I arrived at FISK which was a little unsettling, but the controllers were great at giving frequencies and telling you your next step. Come prepared, but memorization of every detail is unnecessary. Hope this helps future pilots considering flying to Oshkosh.
