National Day Concert Part 6

Kathmandu, Sept 19: A 'National Day Concert' was held at Durbar Marg, Kathmandu, to celebrate Constitution Day. The event began with an orchestra performance by musical bands from the Nepal Police, Nepal Army, and Armed Police Force. After that, 32 artists performed, representing all seven provinces. The concert, organized by the National Day Council, which consisted of 151 contributors to society, lasted for four hours. Artists, including Kutumb band, Anand Karki, Kunti Moktan, Devika Bandana, Sugam Pokharel, Deepak Limbu, Pramod Kharel, Suwani Moktan, and Swapna Suman, performed during the event. Prime Minister KP Oli also attended the concert in the evening. Sixteen songs inspired by national pride were presented. Superintendent of Police Nawaraj Adhikari informed that over five thousand security personnel from Nepal Police and Armed Police were deployed for security. Vehicles passing through the area were redirected until 8 PM, and Kathmandu Valley Traffic Police arranged parking at various spots.
