Go behind the scenes in one of UTI’s most-loved programs: Power & Performance. This 9-week course is included in the Automotive Technology core program. UTI teamed up with industry leader Roush Yates Engines to develop this curriculum, which is based on the modern racing experience. Designed with speed enthusiasts in mind, this program teaches students how to perform a full engine teardown, blueprint and engine rebuild. They install performance parts and make tuning adjustments to understand how the right combination of parts and tuning maximizes engine performance & drivability. This is a unique opportunity for students to build, test and tune an engine that’s ready to hit the track!
