Hornby has announced a new DCC control system called HM7000 that incorporates Bluetooth directly into the decoder. This means users can control their locomotives via a free app, eliminating the need for a separate command station. The new decoders are expected to be available early in 2023 and offer a range of features, including sound functionality and stay-alive capabilities.
