Wow. I never in my life thought I'd end up in Iceland out of all places, but what an honour to be here. What an honour to experience such a strange place to live. Of course we know about the beauty of this place, but beyond that, what is there? The energy of this country, the people, the changing seasons, the tourism and lack of infrastructure to support it, the creativity, the weather, the unity of the country and the people in it. Then there's the downsides which is at times, also the weather, the price, the job market, the prices of living in the capital city of Reykjavik, the lack of fresh food. But overall, clearly, there's a lot to love about this place and since it's been home for so long, I guess that speaks volumes in itself.
