I few days ago I was at my country house and I decided to make something with the few tool I have there. I chose to go with this two Kiridashi. The kiridashi is a traditional Japanese carving knife, very useful in many situations. To make them I used K720 tool steel and a homemade forge. If you are looking for a DIY Kiridashi, this is your way to go. ▶ I am an industrial designer and a maker. I like to make prototypes, unique pieces, equipment and other stuff. I make almost everything by my hands, but I will never be a master in what I do, because I do too many different things to be really good in any of them.
